Quick guide on how to read the letter notes

how to read and play the letter notes
Each group of letter notes is played from left to right, and vertical letters on the same column are played together.

The numbers in front of each line are the octave, each octave has an unique color so you can easily follow them.

Lowercase (a b c d e f g) letters are natural notes (white keys, a.k.a A B C D E F G ).
Uppercase (A C D F G) letters are the sharp notes (black keys a.k.a. A# C# D# F# G#), look at the image below to see where each letter note is on the piano keyboard.

The lines / dashes (-) between letters indicates timing to play the notes. Just listen to the audio file at the top of the post to figure out the time lenght of the dashes (usually 5-6 dashes is about 1 second)

RH / LH means Right Hand / Left Hand and it's mostly for people who play the piano, it tells them with what hand to play the lines. Also, if you want to play a easy version of the song, playing only the RH lines does exactly that, because on most songs RH notes are for melody and LH notes are for bass.

  2. Party is over
    soredemo odoritakatta
nemurenai kurai jounetsu no hi wa itsushika itsu no hi ni ka

    The party is over
But I still wanted to dance
The flames of my passion keep me up at night, but someday, before you know it, they'll...

hana kara kidzuite iru homura wa itsuka kieru
nee nani mo iranai hazu datta
na no ni mada I'm so serious

I knew from the start that the flames would eventually go out
So, you know, I shouldn't have needed anything from you
    But I'm still so serious

    aa mada ma ni au

    Ah, there's still time
Ah, just burn it up, baby
Sorry darling, I'm not that sweet
But I'm not that bad, either

Yeah! For centuries and millennia, things haven't changed--
People's natures, beauty and style, light 'em all up like Yaoya Oshichi[1]
Come, dance, sparks! Fanning the flames is my job
Gasoline and steroids, the way they burn is a sight to see

kono akunaki kawaki aoi honoo mitai
shi wa kako no hitotsu tonari yagate subete hitotsu to nari

I'm not just playing with fire; I'm not capable of being lukewarm
Worn-out karma, trauma; magma, drama burning to ashes
This unquenchable thirst is like a blue flame
Death is the closest thing to the past; soon everything will become one

    Love is dying
    demo mada kiete'nai kara

jounetsu no hi wa itsushika itsu no hi ni ka

    Love is dying
But it hasn't gone out yet,
So I want to try to forget about that
The flames of my passion will someday, before you know it..

karada wa kidzuite iru bokura wa itsuka kieru

Our bodies know that someday we'll disappear
As our youth gradually melts away
