I'll try to make a brief tutorial on how to use the letter notes posted on this blog to create songs in Minecraft using Note Blocks.
First i'll suggest you to watch this video, most of the stuff you need to know it's available in it.
If you've done watching you found out you'll need 2 programs for easily making songs in Minecraft, i'll link them below:

In the image above i made the first part of Crab Rave, as it's posted on this website.
RH:4|d-A-g-gd-da-f-fd-da-f-fc-c|
LH:2|g---g---f---f---d---d---c-|
RH:4|-e-efed-A-g-gd-da-f-fd-da-|
LH:2|--c---g---g---f---f---d---|
Notice that each "-" represents an empty block space in Minecraft Note Block Studio. Unfortunately Minecraft blocks cover only 2 octaves, the full 4th octave and parts of 3rd and 5th octaves. So that means you won't be able to create songs that uses notes from more than 3 octaves. That's why i used only the notes from octave 4. I tried replacing octave 2 notes with octave 3, but Minecraft doesn't have the "f" note for octave 3...

Bottom line, is that you should consider making only songs that are simple and use 1 or 2 octaves.
Anyways after you're done adding the notes, go to File > Export as Schematic.
Than use MCEdit to import the file in one of your in-game worlds. Please watch the video i linked at the beginning of this post, to see exactly how to do it.
There's nothing much else to say, if you have questions leave a comment and i'll do my best to answer them.

ReplyDeletenot sure, i'll look into it...
Deleteyou'd have to use a flash drive. Put the world that has the schematic on the drive and put it in you're console. Go to the flash drive and open the schematic and if you have Minecraft installed it should put you in it. Therefore it worked.
